Located at the corner of Thomas and Dougherty Streets in historic downtown, the center is in Athens’ oldest surviving residence, the Church-Waddel-Brumby House.

Church-Waddel-Brumby House Rental Information
Ideal for small receptions and meetings
Maximum Capacity: 70 people (standing reception)

Fees: $100.00 refundable deposit plus $20/hour for every hour of use exceeding normal hours of operation plus:
$250.00 for non-ACHF members
$200.00 for ACHF members
$150.00 for nonprofits
$125.00 for students


Rental includes use of the four room house, back porch, patio area, and community room. 

Community room rental only: $50/hour during normal hours of operation
Table and chairs for 20, A/V Equipment on site


Classic City Tours Services and Rates
2:00 pm daily Tour of Historic Athens
Travel the paths of Athens history on this 1.5 hour narrated driving tour.  Route includes selected locations in historic downtown, its surrounding neighborhoods, and the University of Georgia.
$15 pp/groups (10 or more): $10 pp
4:00 Tuesday/Thursday Historic Houses Tour
$20 pp/groups (10 or more): $15 pp                             
Shuttle service
Rent nineteen passenger bus and driver: $50/hour
Step-On Tour Guide
Hire a guide for large group bus tours: $50/hour
Specialty tours (Music History, African-American): Call for rates
